Functional Thyroid Management

In this course, students will learn and understand thyroid care from a more functional and chemical perspective.  Any prescriber can use the information presented here to expand his/her knowledge base in order to provide more effective care for hypothyroidism, including Hashimoto's autoimmune hypothyroidism.  Review of thyroid lab testing is fully discussed from a functional perspective, including how to adjust medications based on patients' symptoms AND the lab results.  In this course, the variety of medications available for use in the hypothyroid patients will be discussed.  Ordering the correct lab work, reviewing those results, and using them to optimize patient health will be covered in detail.
